Using mom.nz
These terms cover the mom.nz website, the Mom Guard Chrome extension, and paid plans. By creating an account you agree to them. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
What Mom Guard is
A tool that helps parents reduce exposure to harmful content. It uses an on-device model that makes estimates and can be wrong. It is not a substitute for talking with your child and supervising their use of technology, and we do not guarantee that harmful content will be blocked.
Plans and trials
Paid plans renew each month or year until cancelled. Each paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Your card is saved at sign-up and charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the period already paid for. If there is a billing problem, email hello@mom.nz.
Your account
Keep your password and family passphrase safe. We cannot recover a lost sync passphrase. Do not use the service to monitor adults without their knowledge or to break the law.
Guides and plans
The guides and generated plans are general information for families, not legal, medical, or professional advice. In an emergency contact local emergency services.
Changes
We may update the service or these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email before it applies to you.
